I hate to be negativeApr 05 2006Unknown
I hate to be negative...again, but, BJU is not a place for fun and a lot of involvement. I did enjoy the dorms. It was almost like a Christian military camp and you can really build comraderie with your fellow dormies. I always had really good roommates so that made a HUGE difference. BJU is the place to go to for focus and preparation for your future career. Not everybody needs that, for most life is stressful enough without having their college experience simulate the career world for them.
Main point...enjoy your College life while you have it. Have fun while you learn, life will be waiting for you.
In other words, DON'T GO HERE!

BJU has an open admissions policy, so basically anyoneDec 27 2005Computer Science
BJU has an open admissions policy, so basically anyone with a diploma can get into the University. However, certain majors have additional admissions requirements or require a certain GPA to be maintained. Technical/physical science majors (computer science, math, physics, etc.) will do well to take at least introductory calculus in high school. Biology/pre-med majors must have excellent study skills (some of the classes use graduate-level textbooks) and should have some background in experimental technique. History and pre-law majors ought to have excellent reading comprehension and research skills.

It wasn't really any challange to get in. I hadn't even taken the ACT or SAT when I was accepted. They pretty much take anyone who professes Christ.
